Would you like to help others journey through Scripture? There will be a Bible Study Presenter Training seminar entitled "Genesis to Jesus" on Saturday November 12th at St. Olaf Parish in Eau Claire. You will be enriched personally as well as equipped with all the materials needed to present the study yourself or with a partner. Contact Ann Lankford at alankford@dioceseoflacrosse.com for a registration form and/or further information. Information and registration forms are also available on the Diocesan website main page a www.dioceseoflacrosse.com. It is important that we hand our interest and love for the Bible to others as "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ."

The PCCW will this year be collecting for Toys for Tots
The feast of St. Nicholas is traditionally celebrated in many cultures as a day in which small gifts are given to children. The PCCW is celebrating this early “Christmas” by aiding the Toys for Tots program. We ask you to join us in giving all kinds of toys; large [basketballs and riding toys], medium [games, dolls, balls, and trucks], small [crafts, DVDs and coloring books]. Baskets for collection will be in the Atrium from November 12-December 12 of course including the feast of St. Nicholas-- December 5/6. All toys must be new and unused to comply with state standards. What an opportunity for children to pick out toys with family finances in mind and share in the true meaning of Christmas--giving gifts of love and care.
On Friday December 2nd through Saturday afternoon December 3rd, the Servants of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Vigil for Life will be hosting the Fourth Annual Respect Life Retreat. Our Retreat Master will be Father William Vernon, a Catholic priest from the Diocese of Madison. This event will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Liturgy of the Hours, silent prayer and time for personal reflection. Anyone who is involved in work to build a culture of life is invited to attend.
Spaces for the retreat are limited, so please call now to reserve your room. The cost per person is $55, and checks may be made payable to "The Servants of Our Lady of Guadalupe."
