The parish wishes Father Francis both Happy New Year and "Bon Voyage" as he returns home to Ghana to visit his family. There will be no weekday Mass or Communion Service between January 2 and February 13. Specific Weekday Mass Intentions previously requested for this time period will be offered by Father Francis in Ghana.

Please note that youth Religious Education Classes resume this week. Classes for grades 6-10 will meet on Wednesday evening; classes for pre-school through grade 5 will meet next Sunday, 9 January. DIRECTIONS, our REP for 11 and 12 grade students will resume on February 29th. Throughout our life we are invited to come to know Jesus better. True learning in our faith is a life-long endeavor.

The next Pax Christi meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in the Atrium.

The Bible Club will begin meeting once again later in January. The Bible Club plans to review new videos in the Jeff Cravens series that was begun last fall. Please watch the bulletin for updates.

SAVE THE DATE! The Joseph Club will be sponsoring our second annual dinner and dance on February 11, 2012 in Marian Hall. This year will feature a Valentine's theme with cuisine from Borgen's Café and live music by the Time Travelers. Tickets will be available after all Masses beginning in mid January. So mark your calendars and plan to join us for an evening of good food and entertainment.

Pre-Cana Class – Attention Engaged Couples – Only two Pre-Cana Classes are offered in our deanery per year. Engaged couples must complete this class prior to their marriage. The next class will be held on Saturday, February 4th. Space is limited; anyone who plans to be married in 2012 should contact the parish office as soon as possible to register for the class.

Retrovaille "Marriage 911 Weekends" – Retrovaille (Retro-vî) is a program designed to give you the tools you need to keep a marriage together. The program consists of a weekend and six follow-up sessions which provide an opportunity to rediscover each other and to reopen communication with a positive new perspective. You are not asked to share information with anyone but your spouse. The next Central Wisconsin Retrouvaille "Marriage 911" Weekend is coming up February 17-19, 2012 at the St. Anthony Spirituality Center in Marathon. Who are the Capuchins? The Capuchin Franciscan friars will be holding a weekend in Milwaukee for men (ages 18-45) who are interested in learning about religious life and seeing how Capuchins live as Franciscans in our world and in the Church today. The weekend is February 3-5, 2012.
