The Joseph Club is open to all men of the parish and is an avenue for men to participate in spiritual, social, and service activities to enhance our parish, our community, and themselves.
St. Mary’s book club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the atrium to discussed an agreed-upon book read in the previous month. Books are chosen by the members for the year and are varied and interesting. The list is posted in the church library. All are welcome. Please come share a book with others and enjoy the discussion. Contact Angie Cina if you have questions.
The Luminaries is a youth group open to all St. Mary’s young people between the ages of 6th grade through high school. Their mission statement is as follows: To actively live and learn about our Catholic Faith through fellowship with one another. Whether it’s marching for life in Washington D.C., serving the poor in our community, fundraising, or enjoying a movie together, we do all as a witness to Christ’s life in our soul. If any youth are interested in participating in the youth group or have questions, email Brenda Corr at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check the bulletin for time, place and description of any upcoming activities. More about Youth Group…
“Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains for ever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of Life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2258)
St. Mary’s has an active pro-life group. Activities for all parishioners include joining with the Diocese on the Pilgrimage for Life in Washington, D.C. every January, Rosary rallies in May and October, and Holy Hour for Life in January. Many resources are available:
